In addition to developing and maintaining sustainable projects in Morocco, MCT also does advocacy and fundraising work in the UK. Our office is based in Tooting Broadway, and much of our work is directed towards connecting the UK to Morocco.
Volunteering In The UK
Our work in the UK is continually developing, and there are many opportunities to get involved with our work here. Whatever your skills and experience, if you are enthusiastic about what we’re enthusiastic about, we would really like share ideas about how you could work for MCT. We have volunteering opportunities at our South London office, and if you are interested in joining us as an intern, details of upcoming internships will be posted here.
Project Development Officer Internships
The Moroccan Children’s Trust offers six-month part-time internships for our Project Development Officers, giving them the chance to gain valuable work experience to develop their skills. Our interns have helped manage campaign and fundraising projects, develop publicity and communication strategies and assist in development project research. We have also funded a research and project development trip to Taroudannt for Project Development Officers, where important fieldwork experience can be gained and an insight into how MCT works with our partners in Morocco.
Fundraising and Project Support Officer Internships
We also arrange a Fundraising or Project Support Officer internships, during which interns work a minimum of one day a week. This is an excellent way to gain work experience in the international development and charity field on a more flexible basis.

Events
As a rapidly expanding charity, we are looking forward to hosting future events to showcase our projects in Morocco and celebrate the country’s rich culture. We have been delighted to receive invitations to attend events with other collaborating organisations and would welcome any future opportunities to tell people about what we do. Working with organisations, businesses and community groups is key to our outreach and campaign programme, and we look forward to joining up with groups who share mutual aims and aspirations.
